The [ANT] Disecq system allows two satellite dishes to either operate independently; allowing viewing of separate subscriber packages simultaneously - or operate in ‘hand-over’ mode; overcoming the shadowing effect of a yacht mast so that as one dish reception is obscured the other dish is automatically brought into play.

All of this is done without the need for mechanical devices such as relays, which means that apart from the toggle switch you use to simply select between the modes there are no moving parts in the whole system; leading to fast and reliable operation with virtually zero maintenance required.
