In
line with ANT’s increased activity, and
the appointment of Dick Breure as Business
Manager of The Netherlands, the company are
this year exhibiting at the prestigious METS
exhibition at Amsterdam’s RAI. Running
for three days from Thursday 18 November 2008
the show combines with the Superyacht Forum.
“METS is the worlds largest
exhibition of equipment, materials and systems
for the international marine
leisure industry,” said Dick. “As
a leading supplier of integrated electronic
systems it is important we are there to meet
past, present
and future customers”.
Coming so soon after Monaco
many people will wonder why METS is so important.
ANT’s
CEO Steve Puckering believes the two exhibitions
are very different. “Monaco is a great
show for all those in the industry to attend,
owners, captains, crew, designers, brokers etc.
METS is more specialised, it’s about the
nuts and bolts that make up a superyacht. If
you like it’s the technical side, it’s
about the technology that goes into a superyacht.
It’s for these reasons that we need to
be there”.
The ANT stand, EF099, will
have a lot of interesting and new gadgets on
it including
a TV that can
operate totally submerged, a unique table
top projection system and a fully working,
leading
edge Bridge and Navigation demonstrator.
Combined with the fully integrated AV system,
a visit
to the stand will be invaluable to all
METS visitors. |
